Editorial Standards & Correction Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
At Clut Pulse, we are committed to providing fair, accurate, and responsible coverage. As a magazine spanning sports, national news, and lifestyle, we take our role in the digital information ecosystem seriously. This Editorial Policy defines our standards of practice, verification methodologies, and correction guidelines.
1. Journalistic Integrity and Accuracy
Accuracy is the foundation of our work. Our reporters and contributors are expected to verify all facts and statistics prior to publication. When reporting on complex topics, we seek to consult primary sources, including official government documents, peer-reviewed scientific studies, and first-party interviews.
- Verification: Information provided by secondary sources is cross-referenced before being published.
- Attribution: We attribute all information that is not public knowledge or discovered through our own reporting. We do not copy content from other publications.
- Independence: Our writers maintain full independence. Any commercial sponsorships or affiliate content will always be clearly labeled as advertisement or sponsored content, separated from independent editorial pieces.
2. Sourcing and Ethics
We believe in transparent sourcing. We identify our sources by name and title whenever possible, providing links or citations to primary documents where appropriate. Anonymous sources are used only when the information is of significant public interest and the source faces personal or professional jeopardy for disclosing it.
We explicitly prohibit the use of AI-generated filler, plagiarized text, or scraped content. All pieces published under the Clut Pulse banner represent original research and writing by our authors.
3. Correction Policy
While we strive for perfection, errors sometimes happen. When an inaccuracy is brought to our attention, we investigate it promptly and make the necessary correction. Our goal is to be transparent about what was incorrect and how it was corrected.
- Minor Typos: Small typos, grammatical errors, or styling mistakes that do not alter the facts of the story are updated silently.
- Factual Errors: If a key fact is corrected, a formal "Correction Notice" is added to the bottom of the article page, noting the date of the change and what information was corrected.
- Clarifications: If an article is accurate but requires additional context to avoid misunderstanding, a "Clarification Notice" is added.
If you spot an error in any of our published articles, please notify our editorial desk at namanyaodreck2005@gmail.com or use the form on our Contact Page, selecting "Editorial Correction Request".
4. Accountability
The ultimate accountability for all published material lies with our Editor-in-Chief and publishing directors. Individual authors are credited with bylines on every piece (accessible via their user IDs or names in our article structures). We encourage constructive dialogue with our readers and welcome suggestions, reviews, and opinion letters.
